You can read a lot into what was said in that Q & A - as Spock has already brought up once, its slightly concerning that the low estimate last year was 14, whereas this year it was 13... now that might be him just throwing around numbers for the sake of it, it might not, you can look at the fact he stated season 4 wont be traditional cause it will contain the endings while throwing that 13 out so he can see a way he ties everything up in 12 for a 1 episode massive epilogue, you can look at the fact he said he has ambitious plans for the endings and doesn't know how many it'll take so knows it needs splitting. He generally didn't say anything we didn't already know from last year - all I'm hoping is that once the epilogue hits its on rails like acting lessons was and we have no need for the mini games, no choices or routes etc etc so dev takes a shorter time frame

To hope that DPC will not insert animations everywhere it can seems too optimistic to me.
and I have to say that the one at the beginning of the underwear party was finally “appreciable,” with no animatronics effect
and also a “special” minigames for each path, at least the main ones, I think is inevitable

The sancho save fixer should fix a s1-2 save but never mix mods. If you played s1 and s2 with sancho. You can load a season 2 endsave into an unmodded s3. As the end saves and normal saves works differently.

If we get spring break, it should still be part of the main game and not part of the epilogue. If 12 or 13 is the last, there are still couple of big student holidays/festivities left:
- NYE
- Valentines Day
- Spring Break (can be combined with St Patricksday)
All of them are extremely fitting for freeroams, with NYE and Spring Break easily getting huge ones. Problem is though, are the remaining problems really enough for 2 episodes since the majority of us don't want 2 very large freeroams in 1 episode (I don't mind myself)?
I have no problems with animations everywhere. I just meant that the entire epilogue shouldn't be 1 big animated cutscene per love interest.
The cutscenes currently in the game could get a bit longer and still be fine, as long as they don't expand to like 5-10 minutes per cutscene in the epilogue.

What do you mean by main plot?
if MC goes with the other students and his beloved somewhere for spring break there doesn't have to be any plot, just like there isn't all that much plot in the parties, a free roam, a little chat with some characters, some sex, random tasks
with no mystery to solve or solution to find, just a “final” (or finals) party with a different setting, before the happily ever after
Valentine's Day if there will be one will be a private date, like the one with Bella or Sage, so the problem doesn't even arise

I mean don't get me wrong.... Ive never said we are not getting Spring break, but in terms of story... we have only just got to xmas and that took the best part of 11 episodes. Spring break is 2 to 3 months away... it will take a serious time jump to get us there. if we do it will have to be an epilogue thing I think

I mean we did get a huge jump from episode 9 Halloween to Thanksgiving 10 and then at the 11 at the eve of Christmas/New years

I just mean there probably isn't that much story left considering in the speed it goes now, every major plotpoint will end around NYE or maybe in the week after. There isn't really enough story left to make it to Spring Break. That would make one think that it's going to be part of the epilogue, which should be on-rails with no further input by the player.

Your statement about hypocrisy is meaningless because Sage has zero information about Zoey to begin with and what type of relationship she had with MC, in her perception Zoey is MC's ex-girlfriend. So it's a miss.

I agree and that would be a major missed opportunity, to have Spring Break in an on-rails epilogue instead of a large/massive freeroam.

Not really huge jumps - Halloween to Thanksgiving is three weeks and we did that in an episode with some filler. Thanksgiving to Xmas is 4 weeks and again we did that in an episode with some filler and exposition that's two episode to go 7 weeks.
while yes it is possible we might tie up the 11 cliffhangers with a hand wave (which Ive said before is sort of what DPC does) a time jump is not out of the realms of possibility. but its still 2 - 3 months away and well into the second semester. its a lot of missing stuff, I just cant see it.

time skips are the answers. what day will it be at the end of chapter 12? it may have been months since christmas
I think it is likely that the game will cover at least the first year of college, except for a few scenes from the “distant future” at the very end.
So we will only see the most important moments
valentine's day might even be just a flashback in the middle of another scene.
we need something to build volume before the actual epilogue. this will also serve to give space for new relationships, and then there will be the positive and negative epilogues

I agree wholeheartedly. The next logical party (and obviously there will be one) will be New Year's, and by then Bella's locked room should be resolved, Buddy is possibly resolved and the Betas will still be a work in progress, but given the Jocks' reaction at the end, there's no way that's getting stretched for three in-game months. There is simply not enough story to get us to March. If we are getting Spring Break, this is how I think we are getting there: it's not going to be the massive DIK/HOT freeroam party people think it will be or rather are hoping for. It'll likely be MC and his LI going somewhere and enjoying themselves.

why do you think its likely that the game covers his first year in college and not his first semester? Esp given we have already established the game is naturally coming to its end and its all happened in that first semester?

I see it as each episode will have their time skips with some flashbacks so EP12 will probably take place the events of Christmas/New Years and the first weeks of Jan with 13 will be during valentines and around halfway through march with 14 being the big spring break episode finally 15 being the after effects of spring break to finals and finally 16 being your epilogues and viola

A one-episode Epilogue when Acting lessons, a much shorter game than this got two? I wont lie I like your optimism I really do, but you have just gone against what DPC told us earlier today, also you're stretching an already stretched story out just to get us to this Spring Break episode.
